I'm not joking here!

Check out the colours of this blog. Yes, very symbolic. Is your phlegm like any of these shades? Yellowish? Brownish? Beige? Greenish? Just white. Colour can be an important sign of a new infection.

Why do we get phlegm? What's wrong with phlegm anyhow?

I suffer from bronchopulminary apergilosis according to my Dr and his solution is prednisone. I HATE IT!!! I am currently trying to wean myself off it (am down to 5mgdaily) but the lower I get(dose) the more mucus plugs I seem to cough up(med. green and thick. Is there something I can do to help thin the plugs w/o increasing my prednisone dose again?
